Digital City: Matt Hoey III, First Selectman of Guilford, CT

The First Selectman of Guilford, CT, Matt Hoey III, kicked off our 2024 Ct Digital Cities Open House event with a close look at how his town has gone digital. The town has cut down the need for by nearly 50% by bringing each department into the platform to improve processes through digitization. Both emergencies and daily operations are avenues the city tackles with Veoci, from responding the major weather events to opening lines of communication with citizens. The town is continuing to explore how it can expand its use of Veoci, continue improving operations, and create a system of solutions that bypasses obstacles.
