Given Gartner’s prominence as an IT research guru, it’s no surprise that companies get excited when they earn a place on the Magic Quadrant. We believe, after all, this report offers a credible snap-shot of how businesses are evaluated based on their strengths and cautions. And, let’s face it, we all can use an honest assessment of how we’re doing. “The Magic Quadrant evaluates businesses based on completeness of vision and ability to execute.”

Businesses are grouped into four Quadrants: Leaders, Challengers, Niche, and Visionaries. Obviously, everyone is vying for a spot in the “Leader” quadrant. For newcomers like Grey Wall Software (Veoci), being recognized as a Leader takes on added meaning. It reminds customers of why they selected the vendor in the first place. It can also be a powerful tool for gaining credibility and building brand awareness—not to mention a great conversation starter for people interested in learning more about us.

We think the term “Leader” also encapsulates how well a business is able to understand and accommodate customer needs; however complex and sporadic they may be. Take, for example, a customer-centered solution like Veoci, that was built for the purpose of helping organizations and businesses streamline and accelerate workflows through community building and communication.  Rejecting the one-size-fits-all philosophy, we’ve embraced flexibility and quality service in order to keep our customers happy.

In addition to a graphical representation of the four quadrants, Gartner provides a detailed assessment that breaks down the company’s strengths and cautions. The detailed evaluation is a great opportunity for companies like Veoci to build product awareness and reinforce distinguishing features.

For example, Veoci’s platform was recognized as being particularly comprehensive, packed with solutions and tools that address each stage of an emergency or event. Interactive dashboards, intensive data analysis, and the platform’s accessibility via various applications rounded out the company’s performance review. As the IT market is replete with contenders, it’s important for companies to stand out from the crowd - getting named by Gartner in the Magic Quadrant is a big boost. Just ask Veoci!
