Position Summary

As Veoci continues to expand, we are seeking a talented  Implementation Specialist to join our team and support our customers throughout implementation of the Veoci software.

As an Implementation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful and timely implementation of our customers’ contracted services. This role ensures that customers have an experience that will lead to high customer usage and renewal of services. Ideal candidates will be passionate about managing projects, working closely with the solutions team, and providing outstanding service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support multiple implementation projects that vary in length and complexity from inception through completion, ensuring that timelines and deliverables are met.
• Lead the end-to-end implementation process, managing client expectations to ensure their needs are met and they have an overall positive experience with Veoci. 
• Create and maintain detailed implementation plans, including but not limited to milestones, resource allocation, deliverables, tasks, and risk management strategies associated with the process, and any other project documentation requested by a customer (e.g. project plans).
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure  solutions are configured to client specifications. 
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve or escalate technical issues that arise during the implementation process both internally and externally.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their motivations, expectations, and role in the process. 
• Provide technical support during the pre-sales process, including onboarding presentations and feasibility assessments for customer kick off meetings.
• Provide regular reports to management on ongoing implementations. 
• Maintain thorough documentation of the implementation process for each customer, including client communications, configuration settings, integration details, and client-specific customizations as required.
• Collaborate with Product Management to standardize and improve implementation plans and best practices to drive user adoption and enable excellent onboarding for customers. 
• Ensure a smooth transition from the implementation phase to the support phase, providing clients with the necessary documentation and resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. 
• 2+ years of experience in implementing software for external customers, preferably in a client-facing or project management capacity. 

Preferred Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences and facilitate effective client-facing and internal meetings.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong understanding of software implementation, data migration, and system configuration, with the ability to quickly learn and master new software systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes, anticipate challenges, and determine when issues should be resolved independently or escalated.
• Nice to have: Project management certification or formal project management training, and experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Monday.com, or Microsoft Project.

Physical Requirements & Compensation

Veoci offers remote work flexibility, with this role having the option to be remote or hybrid, with a strong preference for the candidate to be onsite 4 days a week in our New Haven, CT office.  This role may require travel a few times a year for team/company meetings. 

The wage range for this role is $65,000 - $95,000 plus benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
