Veoci’s platform enables American YouthWorks to have a comprehensive data, participant/project tracking system.
Today, Veoci announces a partnership with American YouthWorks. American YouthWorks is a nonprofit organization that helps young adults build careers, contribute to their communities, and improve the environment through education and vocational training.
The nonprofit operates two primary programs; the Conservation Corps Program, in which participants spend extended trips in the field performing environmental work; and the YouthBuild program, in which students can continue their secondary education, receive paid career training, and participate in community service projects.
Founded in 1975, American YouthWorks is based in Austin, Texas, and has expanded to other locations across the U.S., including the Houston, and Baton Rouge areas.
In partnering with Veoci, American YouthWorks sought to develop a more comprehensive data tracking system. Because a large portion of American YouthWorks’ funding comes from government grants and other outside sources, reporting plays a critical role in the agency’s operations.
By developing a case management solution using Veoci, American YouthWorks can more effectively track participants (i.e., students) and projects, accurately report and monitor the growth of participants, and continue to expand what data they collect and report on.
“Veoci gives us a platform for our students to interact and communicate with us, to perform case management, track certifications, project and program development, and conduct surveys,” Matt Stawicki, IT Pathways and Education Manager for YouthBuild Austin, said. “As our programs grow and more participants join, Veoci can scale appropriately, and support our functions as we start working with more participants and communities across the country.”
Additionally, using Veoci provides the agency the ability to communicate and collaborate with their stakeholders at various levels. Not only can case managers from American YouthWorks use the platform to communicate with external stakeholders regarding projects, external stakeholders can respond in kind, creating a shared space for all data and communications relating to individual participants.
“Veoci’s partnership with American YouthWorks strongly demonstrates the flexibility of the platform,” Mark Demski, CEM, Senior Account Executive for Government at Veoci, said. “We’re happy to see Veoci used to support a nonprofit that provides so much to communities. This use case should help Veoci expand to similar organizations and make a difference in communities across the U.S.”
