About This Presenter

Campuses are communities. For those campus community members who have a distant commute from point A to point B, they need a safe ride that they can rely on. Syracuse University’s department of Campus Safety and Emergency Management Services saw an opportunity to better track campus shuttle rides - their frequency of requests, common routes and more, as well as keeping students up to date on when they can expect their ride’s arrival.

Attendees will learn how to :

  • Replace outdated dispatch systems with simple step-by-step workflows
  • Keep students up to date on their ride status
  • Design and maintain a complete dashboard for metrics - rides completed by date, time, common routes and more
  • Use metrics to project staffing needs
