Digital City: Guilford, CT

The Guilford Fire Department has been using Veoci for over 10 years, starting with emergency management and then expanding across the city. Assistant Chief Mike Shove digitized a number of operations processes within the department, from vehicle and equipment inspections to call intake and response coordination. 2020’s Tropical Storm Isaias tested their solutions, and Veoci helped the department capture and take in storm damage information from across the city and streamline the FEMA reimbursement process to the tune of $57,000 for the city. The value was immediately there, and other city departments joined to experience the benefits his department had.
