During these uncertain times of the COVID-19 pandemic it’s not only important to protect the physical health of essential employees, but the mental health as well. Inspired by Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) practices in healthcare organizations, Veoci created a solution to facilitate reach out when essential workers need mental health support.

Many organizations have an established person or service through which an employee can have one on one or group conversations about difficulties they’re facing as a result of their work. These services might also refer employees to seek additional help when needed.

Veoci’s staff wellness solution provides a way for employees to reach out for help during or after a difficult response, such as the COVID-19 pandemic. The solution consists of a public workflow, which can be linked to the company website. It requests information such as the employee’s name, department, contact information, and needs.

This Form can be placed in a workflow which notifies key people when information is submitted and tracks the progress of each case down to putting employees in touch with the appropriate providers.

The goal of this solution is to help organizations provide essential mental health support to at risk employees in a way that is organized and documented. It may also help prevent staff burnout because essential workers know they can seek help when necessary and that their needs are supported.
